shepherdsflock
I'm currently paying about 2.4 cents per gumball at Sam's club for Double Bubble. I have a location that I purchased with a pretty steep commission on gumballs. The commission on toys and everything else is very reasonable, but the former owner committed to a high commission on gumballs to secure the location. It's worth staying even at that commission, but I'm looking for ways to reduce my cost. Is there anywhere that can offer gumballs at less than 2.4 cents per gumball after shipping and everything is figured in?
havending
Not unless you order your bulk by the pallet then you can add gum to the order what's the comm % on gum? The former owner was an idiot breaking down comm by product
FrCorey
to vend, you have to have balls!
musser
Sams is the best you will do unless you live close to carousel, and you don't. I am running some 1430 ct and will probably start switching machines over --it will save about a half a cent a ball. But there is no savings if you are paying shipping. Might want to check sams and see if you can special order 1430, Concord does make it.
F J Vending
How many gumballs are you selling out of this location that cutting your cost on a .02 product would make a difference. And how steep of a commission is it, I assume a % of sales and not a flat fee? Couple ideas If the other products do well and the commission is low then I wouldnt worry about it. Maybe up the price of a gumball to .50 until the owner is willing to renegotiate
shepherdsflock
Thank for the replies. I don't want to say what the commission is, because I don't who might be reading my posts. Could be a competitor lurking on here. Anyhow, I posted this originally just because I wasn't sure if Sam's had the best price or not. If I could get gumballs for 1 cent somewhere else, I'd be all over it. However, it sounds like Sam's has the best price I'm going to find.
