////// Need Help resetting "out of order" error on Royal milk vendor ////////

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

Due to recent storms in our area, the power had gone out on a number of my stops.

I had a site call me stating that there soda machine was out of order.

I went to the site and try to diagnose the problem. The site has a royal vendors milk vending machine that I used to sell sodas out of.

The reason that the machine is showing and "out of order" error is because it is a milk vending machine with a sensor that detects if the temperature gets above 41°… If it does get above 41°, then the machine automatically enters into an "out of order" error state so as not to vend potentially spoiled milk type products (in my case though, I vend sodas on this machine, so this safety feature does not necessarily apply to my products, but nonetheless the machine still has the feature since it was originally a milk vending machine....and unfortunately the machine is in the error state because of the previous power outage and temp rise).

My question is… How do you go about resetting this error so the machine will leave the "out of order" error mode?....... I have tried to read the online manuals for my particular machine, but I cannot figure out exactly how to do it… Which buttons to push etc .

I read the errors section from the manual on the following link (www.royalvendors.com/docs/manuals/milk.pdf) BUT unfortunately I could not get my error corrected (I couldn't figure out all the buttons to press).

Is there anybody out there who has had experience with this type of machine could help me button push for button push?

(and more importantly tell me which button is which).

Thanks in advance for any and all help.

Andrew

Assuming you aren't stuck at a password and can access and move through the programming, here are the button pushes to reset the health control:

1. Press the service mode button on the control board. Press sel. 1 to step down through the menus and stop at 'FriG'. If you pass this menu, stop and press sel. 2 to back up through the menus or continue with sel. 1 and the menus will cycle through again.

2. When you stop with the display at 'FriG', press sel. 3 to enter this menu.

3. Press sel.3 again to view the sub menus and you should see 'hS'.

4. Press sel.3 again to view the next sub menu and you should see 'tinE' followed by a number, then you'll see 'tEnP' followed by a temperature. (The number after 'tinE' shows number of minutes without power and 'tEnP' shows the temperature at the time of power restoration.

5. After viewing the time and temp of the outage, press sel. 4 briefly to back up to the menu list again. The first menu you see when backing up should be 'HS' then press sel. 4 briefly again and you'll see 'FriG', If you end up at the normal scrolling standby message just press the service mode button again and go back into programming.

6. Scroll with sel. 1 to find 'Eror' in the menu list.

7. When at 'Eror' press sel. 3 to enter the menu. The display will show the 'hs' error and hopefully no others.

8. To erase any error, while the display is showing the error press and hold either sel. 1 or 2 for 2 sec. The display will chg to 'None' or to another error that may be stored as well.

9. When you have erase all errors, you may close the door and check for proper operation of the machine.

Good luck with this.
