Always wanted simple passive income without a large investment like real estate. I very recently came across thebackrubber.com and ordered 8 machines. I just got my shipment two days ago and set one up. These things are great. Looking forward to getting them into locations and seeing what they can do. I also am about to place an order from kriss-sportusa.com for 5 of their boxing machines. I hear that these do incredible in bars. Anyone have any experience with these companies or similar type products? The customer service for the back rubber has far exceeded my expectations so far. So lets see here, you just dropped $14,400 plus shipping on 8 of the massage chairs and 5 boxing machines at whatever price, combined at least 20K, do I have that right? Oh, and your only 22, so did you rob a bank to raise the cash? If you got it from family I hope it was a gift and not a loan because unless you are very fortunate to find great locations the payback is going to be long and difficult. Those chairs are going to be nearly impossible to place in good locations. I've only seen them in malls and malls require insurance and a ton of commission! It would take forever for your ROI, that is, if they even allowed you to place them, as those massage chairs are kind or a thing of the past. Not a good investment. Like dogcow said, there really is nothing "passive" about this business. The vending business is a profession, not a source of extra income that many people see it as. I made my money and retired, now just dabbling in other ways to generate passive income. My local cigar shop wants two chairs. I think that could be a great spot. I'm sure you saw it quite a bit in your previous work, lots of scams going on. Well it happens out here in the "normal" world too. Before you invest in anything take your time and do a lot of research before jumping in, vending or otherwise. If you don't the nest egg you've built will go rotten pretty quickly. There are lots of companies and individuals looking for inexperienced vendors who are only too happy to sell low-quality equipment at over-priced figures. And some of those perks places offer like locator services or protected territories or discount after-market parts are not worth a darn. The best thing to do is arm yourself with knowledge....read, read, and then read some more - - especially this forum.
