dixie 600e sold out light

Recommended Posts

Microlost,

Yes, the sold out lights can burn out, the wire terminals can break off the light or the wires can come off the terminal which you can put back on.

If you have sold out lights snapped into your selection buttons then you have a single price machine without a credit display in the front of the door or a control board in the top of the door, correct? If this is correct then you do have 110V sold out lights as all the wiring in the machine is 110V. The sold out lights are special in that you can see they are a square plastic piece with an LED encased in it. The correct part number is 804.700.510 unless you have a Coke door which is p/n 804.700.540 or a Dr. Pepper door which is p/n 804.700.630.

I have these in stock for $2.00 each. Please let me know if I can be of help to you with this.

Most E models do not have sold out lights. If you press an empty selection button the credit display will read SOLD OUT. A very few do have lamps are LEDs and last a very long time and it is extremely unlikely more than one would fail in the same machine.

Try swapping one LED that works with one that does not. A wiring error or board failure is much more likely than mutable LED failures.

If your machine lacks a credit display it is likely not an E model and may use 110 volt lamps that may fail after decades of use.
