dapoopta
I am looking to get a claw game. I am very very new to this type of thing, and new to vending in general. I am looking for a good machine. Price... well, I don't know what a good price range to even start with. What are some of the terms I should familiarize myself with? Sizes of machines? What would I search on Craigslist to find a machine? Thanks guys!

dkochan
Good crane locations include Chinese buffets, supermarkets, malls and very busy family restaurants. Sent from my HTCEVODesign4G using Tapatalk

dogcow
Chinese restaurants is a great idea! Do you guys give commissions to locations usually? I was talking with another vendor yesterday about new vendors getting into the crane biz. When I just started out in full line vending one of the forum members took me aside and asked a few important questions to consider before jumping in the biz. I think it applies to cranes also. It sounds like a great idea but you have to consider a few things first. transportation -- How are you gonna transport the equipment to and from the location? Do you have a plan if the equipment malfunctions and the equipment needs to be pulled offsite for repair. repair -- do you know how to repair the equipment? if not have you found a reliable knowledgeable repair person in your area? what does he charge and have you factored in repairs to your biz plan equipment -- are you buying reliable equipment? are you buying equipment for which parts are still available is the equipment going to work for the product you are trying to vend? im not trying to discourage you from getting into the crane biz BUT the old saying is fail to plan, plan to fail. And when one vendor comes to a location and all kinda problems happens because they werent prepared well that location gets ruined for anyone after him because they get soured on vending from having a bad experience. just mny 2 cents
Tbuford
I have had businesses I couldn't get into due to them being so pissed off at some guy who put in machines and did not keep them up. Some I eventually got thru to others were impossible to get through to.
