beejaykc aka Munch A Bunch
I've not been around long enough to know the ins and outs of how we (vendors) prepare for new bottle shapes. But here's a new one. http://finance.yahoo.com/news/pepsi-rolls-shape-bottle-221025372.html
mission vending
That one looks like it will work fine. The neck and base appear to have the same diameter.
Sparta_Automation
I am assuming that Pepsi knows that they sell a lot of product out of vending machines and anything that they release will either work in the typical vending unit, or they already have been working with manufacturers to ensure that shim kits, if needed, will be available. AZVendor
I agree with Mission and Sparta - the bottle looks like the top and bottom are the same diameter and it looks more stable when laying on its side. Pepsi won't design a new bottle if it won't fit in their full service machines. They probably operate more machines than the vending companies combined and don't want to introduce problems. reel
Shouldn't make any difference at all.
