musser
I have one strip out like that once in awhile but not very often. Some times I think that the motor gets a little misaligned so it doesn't make full contact and then strips. Not too bad a fix though.
Billnuts
I had the same thing happen on a older elaut they usually show some signs of slippage before complete failure its a easy job just be careful of the flying C clips.. bill

ronsidney
when we first got the brass gears from feiloli on those crane i noticed "gold dust" in a lot of my cranes...I worked around then loosened bolt and tilted motor toward gear some more and it stopped..I told all of the guys i imported those feiloli cranes for on claw network message forum to do this as it was factory messup i guess where that worm gear was too far from brass gear. before that we got those plastic gears and had alot of problems.. i requested brass gears and it was first time feiloli had used brass gears was after i requested them.. So all of you guys buying smart toy chests now you need to thank me for the advice to feiloli for that one. ron
