Ok so I've never used tokens before(I'm not even in the arcade biz) so most of the following will be common sense but...

Make sure the size is compatible with mechs

Both chuck e cheese and some other places use a similar size token so that size must be special

However, with that said, you might wanna make a different size token then check e cheese to prevent cross circulation.

984 tokens are a little bit bigger than a quarter,, they work best with the electronic mechs as they are "heavy" enough to do the motions..It is same size as other tokens around like chuckee cheese etc..

hoffman mint aka. american changer has them and a bunch of stock designs.if you buy a bunch they get down to about 9 cents each..so even if you get others peoples tokens you can look at it like you made 9 cents!

i have a bunch of them from everywhere..sometimes when i used to goto auction i would buy a game and the bottom of it would be full of tokens and id just put them all in a bucket..most all are 984 size.

also on you imonex mechs on you video games etc. you can get the imonex that takes both 984 and quarters.. this is good because you still have people wanting to use quarters..

Its easier to just use quarters really, but then when you close everyday you have worry about all that cash that someone might break into and steal. with tokens you just open changer and get bill stacker out and leave it open so if you do get broke into the thief has no reason to break anything..

the stock options at hoffmin are good really,,i always got the liberty on one side and no cash value on other side..

at first id rather use quarters since all my stuff is route equipment so its secured real well, but the thing is...with a token i realized you get the FULL dollar. so if someone breaks a dollar, they get 4 qts back, they can play 50 cent and leave, if they get 4 tokens back they gotta play all 4 .

as far as .984 goes, the changer i picked up says it can do up to .98 thickness just not sure if that would include .984 or not. i have to pick up the mechs soon. btw can u pm me ur # again, i lost my phone at the peppermint rhino in vegas and they never found it so i gotta get a new one. (also lost my BELT LOL!!) its driving me nuts i had my whole life in the stupid phone
