bhumphrey829
I am wondering if anyone else has trouble with hot tamales not vending? I have changed out machines, changed out canisters, coin mechs, and still am having trouble with it taking quarters one time and not vending then put in another quarter and it vends just fine. Any help is greatly appreciated. By the way it's only the hot tamales do I ever get calls other than on rare occasions my peanut m&m's do it also but nothing like the hot tamales
caserri
Sounds like they might be sticking? Hot Tamales/Mike and Ikes are notorious for sticking. Have you tried treating them with Pam spray?
GagesVending
Like Caserri said, they clump together. Every service make a habit of shaking the canister to free up the candy. I only put Mike and Ikes and Hot Tamales in locations where they sell good because they need to stay moving, don't allow them to settle.
mainor5251
When I use to vend candy I would spray the handle of a wooden spoon with a non-stick spray and then stir the hot tamales or mike n ikes.

Well that's the only reason I don't pull them because in this particular place, they average 13.00 a month just in hot tamales so I will definitely try the pam thing.
