Old 80's Vendo 3 deep machine

This is caused by your rotor in the column being 180 degrees off. If you pulled the motor off, then this means you put it back together with the rotor upside down. It sounds like you have Vendo 601. If you didn't pull the motor off, then you installed the motor cam 180 degrees out.
