moondog
Not far from you Mission! http://www.grindtv.com/outdoor/excursions/post/young-texas-hunter-bags-800-pound-alligator/ That is one big gator! I wonder what it got fat on? illegals maybe. Pretty soon those damn lizards will start showing up around here - sounds like they're already halfway across Texas. ............ on second thought, maybe we could use something like that (fattening them up would be no problem)
sherlock
... there's plenty of lazy Americans that would make for easier hunting considering they sit around doing nothing productive instead of getting a job and contributing to the society that supports them. The gaters would sure help ease some of the burden on the public dole by making a few meals out of that group rather than out of some other group that's at least willing to work. Of course, I think motion is what attracts a gator on its hunt. So I may be out of luck. Lazy Americans don't move but once a month to collect another handout. By the time those folks get off their golpher, a whole score of gators would have fattened up on people actually moving towards a better future for themselves. will.vend
Lazy Americans don't move but once a month to collect another handout. This is exactly what is wrong with our economy imo! it has gotten so bad that the younger generation see it as normal and expect to ride the system too! both sides are guilty of sustaining this way of life. they dont want me in office to end their free ride, I believe in helping people but not on a permanent basis, drug test, mandatory work programs and zero tolerance is a start. ronsidney
you hit a nerve!!let me explain.. I was looking for a route guy about a year ago and went through my interviews etc and finally found me a good one.. He rode in van with me for a week training and learning minor repairs ect.. was all set to go out next week and start on his own.. He didnt show up to work monday, or tuesday,,or wed..... then on thursday (payday) he shows up to my house and said he needs to talk to me.. He said "Ron, I gotta have $18 a hour for this to work, thats as low as i can go for 40 hours." Im like "WTF, $12 is wage, take it or leave it." ,, and he said "Dont get upset ,let me explain." I get 280 per week unemployment that i will lose I get 300 a month in food assistance I get free healthcare (TN care) that i would lose (about 250 amonth) I get free childcare for my kid (why do you need free child care if you dont work!!!) 60 a week I get help from Good Samariton and Mustard seed on my electric bill $75 a month. So if i work for you for 40 hours a week im gonna lose $62 bucks a month!!! He said if I could pay cash he could do it for the $12 but he wasn't gonna work for free!! and who is he gonna vote for in elections??? the guys that want to make more jobs or the guys that want to extend all of the benefits at the expense of the people that actually work.. I seen him a few months ago in a new truck.. He said he could make 500 a week "scrapping" and its cash money , he had saved up enough to buy him a new truck over the last year since all of his bills where being paid.. I HAVE NEVER OWNED A BRAND NEW VEHICLE IN MY LIFE!!---(probably never will as i dont want to take the depreciation out of parking lot) ron
mission vending
Been fishing on that lake, up to 7ft is not uncommon. This one was over 800 lbs and a state record I think I need to buy a bigger fishing boat.
