beejaykc aka Munch A Bunch Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 Good grief. I have a 40 select snack machine that's done 267 vends ($244.95) already in June. I can't keep up with it. It's neighbor the soda machine has done 80 for $105. Yep. I'm bragging. What do the business guys say.....buy cheap, sell high? Anyone wanna buy? I am raising prices this week too. Little do they know. Time for chips to be $1.00 instead of $0.90.

I understand about supply and demand, but it seems to me that raising prices a little to decrease demand is not really the way you want to go. At your current rate, the whole machine is going to run dry about every 4 days (some people dream about this scenario). The main idea is to make as much money as possible. To me, it's better to service one machine twice a week than to service 4 machines every two weeks - same profit / less investment. You basically make $130 + each time you service that machine so why not just hit it twice a week if you can't fit an extra machine in there?

I have that problem with some of my smaller cold drink machines and believe me I will not complain at all! Just take the cash and fill machine back up! mike
moondog Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 What moonbeam said. Apparently you have me confused with the heavenly glow that emanates from the sun with it's eternal flame and illuminates the night in all of it's majesty. ...................an honest mistake
