massalonvending Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 I'm in Costco now and need to know how many ounces it takes to fill up one head in a 3 hesd
GagesVending Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 If you're planning on filling about half way, each selection will take around 75 or so ounces.
massalonvending Posted June 12, 2013 Author Posted June 12, 2013 Well Jelly Bellies are expensive, so I'll put a piece of sheetmetal behind it
GagesVending Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 Well Jelly Bellies are expensive, so I'll put a piece of sheetmetal behind it Yeah, I wouldn't even try Jelly Belly's because of the high COGS. You'd have to have a very small vend to make money. Try Mike and Ikes. They sell them for around $6.99 for a 4.5 lb bag at Costco and they're similar to jelly beans.
adog Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 Toooooo many ounces lol! I always fill the machines up the first time because I think it looks alot better. However after tat I fill them to the 25% mark. I filled my sega almost to the top one time, three bags a column and no joke I serviced i the next month and had 25 bucks in it and I did not have to fill it at all. Because they hold so much lol!

I do the same thing. With a new account and a new machine, I think that the location expects to see a "full" machine, otherwise they don't perceive it as being "new". After that I keep it 50-75% full.
