PowerVendor Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 Vending is my third job and as such, i don't have the time to answer the phone every time a customer calls about service or product issues. Unfortunately and apparently, busy store owners don't leave a voice message. When I use caller ID and call them back, it takes me about 5 minutes (if i am that lucky) to help the person remember why they called me to begin with. This happens every day given the number of locations that i have. I got thrown out of a new laundromat the second month because of this very reason. That being said, how many of you contract with an answering service to consolidate messages and to answer the phone full-time? Who do you use? I have seen advertisements online offering live answering services for around $35-$50 per month. It would be worth that to me just to keep up with service/product calls and not lose customers. Thanks.
RobertInPhilly Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 I'm friends with a guy that owns an Intelligent Office. His company does much more than just answer phones for his clients. I'd highly recommend using them if you don't have an employee to answer your phone calls.
