beejaykc aka Munch A Bunch Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 Those of us using USA Tech for credit card readers should unite and force them to create a mobile app! I'd like the ability to view my machines from my cell phone (Android or iOS). If nothing else......just some simple reporting. When I asked them.....they acted like "you're lucky we even have a website...." ha ha
Precious Roy Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 Are they the ONLY game in town for credit card processing for vending? I would rather be able to use paypal or something like Square.
AZVendor Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 I have had the same attitude from USAT when I informed them that they weren't offering the correct parts to install their readers on certain machines. They really have no clue how vending machines are built and aren't very interested in how much trouble you might have installing their kits. I still recommend USAT to vendors, but not because of their knowledge of machines, but for their knowledge of card reader technology.
Sparta_Automation Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 If you have a smartphone with web-browser, you can log onto their website and still get the report. Although I do like the idea of an app. Travis

Besides........I need something I can do with one hand while I drive, drink my soda, eat my lunch, and watch for traffic. I have not had any luck actually getting the reports to download to my Android device. I've tried WiFi and 4G. No luck. Hangs up "downloading" the report. Have been trying for months. Someone's gotta put the pressure on these guys to develop an app. Or someone else (a competitor) will. Which I encourage.
