Billnuts Posted June 21, 2013 Posted June 21, 2013 I Have dealt with this auction company a few times in the past This is a notice to anyone new to these type online auction places.... NEVER ENTER A RESERVE OR MAXIMUM... example: Bid is at $3.00.... you bid $4.00 with a maximum of $30.00 The website owners can see your maximum and they WILL!!! shill bid you to $29.99 They recently had a online auction for vending http://assetsnowauctions.com/cgi-bin/mnlist.cgi?monger15/category/ALL I won several items... 4 Vending pinballs, 3 air blown Air show games 3-4 Northwestern 6 heads... I go on Wednesday to pick up the items, with my truck + trailer with employee to help Arrive to a lady saying they didn't call or email you? they don't have the keys... the owner has not released the keys.. I cant pick up the items even after saying keys don't matter... No calls or anything from them today Then tonight I see this.. http://www.ebay.com/itm/4-Bay-Quarter-Candy-Vending-Machine-Yellow-with-flat-top-/221231520861 They have some listed on EBAY!! This site is a total scam.. Now if the tables were turned and I didn't pick up my auction items... they would have a fit and try to charge my credit card.. saying its a binding legal auction etc.. I am calling tomorrow and cutting thru the BS... I know the stuff sold too cheep but that's not my problem if they don't have a valid reason or a solution I am going to turn them into the Michigan auction association NAA and others
adog Posted June 21, 2013 Posted June 21, 2013 I'd do the same Bill! It's an auction. Items go for what they sell for lol. No backing out!
mission vending Posted June 21, 2013 Posted June 21, 2013 Go get 'em Bill, sounds like they deserve all the trouble you can give them and then some.
VendingExperts Posted June 21, 2013 Posted June 21, 2013 Hey Bill, I think if they had a concern about the final selling price, then they should have set a reserve! That's a great find! Give 'em Hell!
ffd95 Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 I would also get on ebay and notify them what has happened.
ffd95 Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 Here is the store link on Ebay. Maybe if everyone registered on ebay starts asking if these were the same ones sold at their other auction, it will at least let them know that some people have been alerted to their scam. http://stores.ebay.com/GLOBAL-DISCOUNT-EQUIPPERS?_trksid=p2047675.l2563
