Coinco 3000-S

New into the Vend world. I have a coinco 3000-S in a DNCB368 that I picked up for our club use, Is .05 the lowest this can be set to? We want to be able to set it to Free vend for events.

Yes, 5 cents is the lowest price you can set in the coin mech.  You will have to modify the machine for free vending.  I am attaching a diagram showing the easiest way to do it.  You will unplug your coin mech first and then use the coin mech socket to make this modification. 

 

Use the following diagram to install the free vend switch, then run sufficient wire to the inside of the front door where you will need to mount the momentary switch for external use.  Remember that this is all 110V and the machine must be unplugged before modifying the machine.

The coin mech does need plugged back in after the mod correct?

No, you will leave the coin mech unplugged when using the modification, then if you want so sell soda again, remove the modification and plug the coin mech in again.
