adog Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 You guys have convinced me to enter into the flatline world now. Ordered three boxes (Sugar, Urban from VSI, and Zombie Stickers from Cardinal) last night. We shall see how they do. My question is do you guys vend at .50 or .75 cents? It you do vend at .50 cents are you guys going to be switching to .75 cents anytime soon? I would like to see if you are switching soon because I would hate to introduce them to a certain price point and be switching it the next month already. Thanks in advance guys. You guys talked me into trying the flatline lol.
LandJGroup Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 I do all 50 cent price points. Most of my mecs are eds (the push mecs) therefore you can take the spacers out to adjust your price points. You can youtube it.
Nick505 Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 All my flat is at .50 cents and sells pretty good. The only thing with flat is it should be rotated out every 6 weeks. A&A will be offering the NFL logo stickers in early August. You may want to pre-order some of those as well as the buildables. I did really well last year with the NFL Logo stickers.
antoniocinisi Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 generally flat is still .50 although I put one machine in at .75 because of a high commission, 40%
havending Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 ,50 flat has a low cog and .50 keeps them moving. Rotate items and don't buy trendy stuff Like boy bands. I split at box between 3 locations let it sell out then use a new one.

Sounds like most are at .50 cents and it does pretty well. I am just worried about the 40% location I have but I would still make 20-22 cents per vend as if I were at .75 I think I make like 33 cents or 35 so it isn't to big of a difference. I think I would rather them sell quickly then have them sitting around!
shepherdsflock Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 Adog, you're talking about a 60% increase in profit at 75 cents; don't be so quick to dismiss it as an insignificant difference. I'd also like to know how 75 cent vend prices are working for those that have tried it. I'm thinking about trying it at one of my locations where I'm planning on putting in a flat machine. 50 cents does very well at my current locations but I've never tried 75 cents. Stickers would probably be a very tough sale at 75 cents, but I wonder if tattoos might sell at 75 cents fairly well?
