I recommend you avoid texting unless you like gators riding shotgun. The worst part about a new phone is that you'll have to read the damn manual - I'd rather eat a bowl of sawdust, and if you haven't stayed current the manual will skip over a bunch of stuff they assume you already know. ......... and besides, you told me that nobody can understand your Cajun accent anyway
VendingExperts Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 iPhone 4, not 4S, or iPhone 5. It will take some getting use to, but once you do, you'll love it! Stay away from HTC, they stink!!

sherlock Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 I hate smart-phones....but they've become a necessary evil to me. I liked being able to pick up my cell and start dialing. Now I gotta press more than 7 buttons just to get to the dang dial pad.....freakin' technology! Service-wise, no one comes close to AT&T's reliability in all the parts of the country I've been to. My phones with other service carriers were no where near as reliable outside the city.
snack dude Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 pantech phone from at&t. $30.00 bucks, I can text and answer the phone when it rings, it takes a beating and I wont cry when it breaks. I will just go get another.
havending Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 I got everyone an I phone 5. Kids, wife, drivers and myself. Took me a while to Change over but really like them. A little secret if you have AT&T and an I phone you can upgrade every year and not every other.
The Mage Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 I have an iPhone. I have alarms for everything on it. I have schedule reminders on the calendar. I simply say "Call my Wife, iPhone" and it dials her up, knowing which phone number to use, and I have the same for my Daughter. I also told it to call me "The Mage" from now on. I did install an app called Week Calendar that runs on top of the regular calendar. I like it's agenda view giving me a simple list of what is coming up for the week.
CajunCandy Posted July 3, 2013 Author Posted July 3, 2013 Freaking At&T registered phone hours ago still no service! Ya'll bunch of lucky suckers!
moondog Posted July 3, 2013 Posted July 3, 2013 Freaking At&T registered phone hours ago still no service! Ya'll bunch of lucky suckers! My favorite phone is the one that works. I have a bunch of broken ones that I don't like any more. The "bounce app" is an important for me - none of the broken ones had this feature. The best phone ever was the Motorola Brick - you could smite a foe at twenty paces with that thing and it made a pretty good hammer in a pinch.

moondog Posted July 3, 2013 Posted July 3, 2013 No money to count tonight? It's been a steady 100 plus degrees for a week here and "Homey don't play that". As soon as it cools off I'll go and collect some money - it's not going anywhere and neither am I.
