What kind of machine is this?

I found this machine on ebay about 15 miles away (closest machine i have ever found for sale.)

 

it's listed for $300 just don't know if it's worth that price.

 

He says everything works great.

I don't really need it right now, but if its a good deal might as well get it and hold it until i do.

That is a Lektrovend VS99 and you don't want it unless you have other Lektrovends that you love.  It has few parts available (virtually none) though the board, coin mech and validator can still be repaired.  This one still has a Maka validator that should be upgraded to Mars.  The machines are quirky.

I passed on one for even less money than that. Thanks to this forum, I might have been suckered into it.

Yes, its a 146.  It has a Maka too, you'll want to get rid of that one and get the kit to upgrade the machine to an MEI VN-2501.  The National 146 isn't the newest machine out there by any means, but all parts are still available, and it is a good quality machine, today and when it was made.
