dkochan Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 What dollar bill acceptor do you recommend for me to install in a Smart Industries Toy Chest import crane? Sent from my HTCEVODesign4G using Tapatalk 2
mjacks Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 Just about any should work. Mars 2400 series is always a winner and that is what I go with most of the time. 2400 series takes 1's and 5's. I would spend extra for anything that takes more than that for a crane. Realistically nobody's going to put a $20 in your crane.
Southernmusic2 Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 As stated mars tops my list then we use ict next in a pinch. Stay away from the rest

QBTCoin Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 Pyramid apex 5000 series have been doing well for me. About $100 less than a mars, and still made in USA and same 2 year warranty that Mars comes with. Acceptance is just as good as a mars, IMO.
musser Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 I have lots of ICTs and they are very good. And I would get a dba thats that takes 1,2,5,10,20, you will gets 20s in the right spots with the right merchandise
PowerVendor Posted July 14, 2013 Posted July 14, 2013 MARS 2400 series. Bullet proof even buying used ones for around $70 to $90 each. I hear good things about Pyramid also.

I have gotten burned buying used of ebay and finding out that they can't be reflashed to accept the new $5 bill. Just another one of my expensive lessons I have learned along the way. I suppose they are fine if you only want to accept $1 bills though.

It'll be on the serial number sticker and or the silicone piece on the back of the optic head.
