beejaykc aka Munch A Bunch Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 Should I or shouldn't I? The bill validator is old (only accepts $1). Should I try and steal it for $325 - $350? http://kansascity.craigslist.org/for/3923261473.html

It's a 3015 about twenty years old and built much better than the later Wittern machines. It looks to be in nice shape and I'd buy it for $300 without the BA and coin mech - that way you can install whatever you choose.
AZVendor Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 You should be able to find newer used snacks than this one. This is one of the first 3015 snacks sold by USI (determined by the L-handle) and parts are going obsolete as the factory runs out of them. I just tried to find a candy shelf rail for this exact model and USI no longer has it. The rail from a 3015A (newer with a regular T-handle) won't work as it's a shorter part. I'm not saying "don't buy it" because it does look good, but you would need to look at it to see if its complete, if any shelves try to fall off the rails when pulled out, if the door closes snugly (biggest problem with this model), how clean it is and how good the paint and front is up close. If in good enough condition, I would offer $300 with the coin mech and validator or no deal.
Vendors Tech Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 Yep, $300 max, but get a different machine if you can, like AZ said, a newer one. Try and get an AP 7600, you'll never regret buying that machine. Parts for the 3015 are OUTRAGEOUS from USI if they still stock them. Most parts are no longer available.

AZVendor Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 What rail did you need, left or right. I may have one kicking around. I need a rail for the candy shelf on the right side. It has to be out of an early 3015/14/13 snack with the L shape lock handle. It is longer than what is used on the 3015A models that came later and used T-handles. The correct part number is 1200321.001 in the 3015. The wrong part number from the 3015A is 1211321.003. Thanks for your help.

AZVendor Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 Thanks for looking, Bill. I already told the customer the part is obsolete so if I ever find one I'll be a hero.
