cashman Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 Can i have your thoughts on this machine ? looks like i can get it cheap, worth it or not. Snackshop II Snack machine. Model 540 D903.
AZVendor Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 I'm not sure what you are looking at based on that model. Posting a link to an ad or posting a photo is the best way to get it identified. You might be looking at an AP 500 snack machine. It is very old and did not have a factory logic board in it. It used either a 4 price or 10 price coin mech or a multiprice coin mech. Any of these then used a pricing board in the machine to set individual prices. It predates any manufacturer's logic board machines and is from the early 80's - if this is the machine you are referring to. Posting more information will be very helpful.
moondog Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 Can i have your thoughts on this machine ? looks like i can get it cheap, worth it or not. Snackshop II Snack machine. Model 540 D903. I found one picture of it in a Canadian ad but could not discern whether it was a AP 5000 or AP 7600 ( bad picture or bad eyes ). The easy way to id these is by the keypad panel. This picture shows a 7600 http://www.amequipmentsales.com/ap7600.htm If the one you're looking at has a larger square frame above the keypad panel, then it's probably a 5000 or 5500. I would definitely consider the 7600 but avoid anything older for the reasons AZ gave. It's interesting that the model numbers are different in Canada - you'd think it would be the same machine with the only difference being the Ba and coin mech
