Vending How Chris Posted July 14, 2013 Posted July 14, 2013 $300 doesn't seem bad, assuming they work. $1200 for two is a bit steep. It also depends how much volume you'll get from your locations. Will you be able to pay off the machine and cost of installation in a year or less?

AZVendor Posted July 14, 2013 Posted July 14, 2013 orsd, The first two photos are of an AP5000 that has a Coinco CBA validator in it and a Vendo 407 single price with Coinco BA30B validator. The AP is their first logic board machine with the board located on the door and has a conversion kit added for the validator. You will need to update the CBA validator as it's metal and not worth repairing. This might require a new interface kit for the validator you choose to use. $300 ea isn't bad but maybe you can get a deal on both. The third photo is a multiprice DN501E or 600E (can't tell what height it is) with no validator but looks complete. This is a good machine for the right price. Don't plan on changing the sign as that sign is the only one that fits it. I'd say max $500 for this. The fourth machine is a Vendo 407 single price machine with a CBA validator. I think this may be early enough to have lowering shelves in each column for vending the cans and they are verrrry problematic. If the motors have green and white cams, don't buy it. If the motor cams are black and it has black plastic rotors in the bottoms of the columns it is a good machine for that price but you have to replace one motor and upgrade the validator. I have the motor if you need it. The fifth photo is a single price DN prior to the E models. It has no validator, but you can install one. It has 8 columns and 7 selections (all Coke machine do). It appears to be 79" tall so it would be a DN 440 or 414, or 600. If it's actually 72" tall, then it would be a DN368 or 501. The price is high for a single price machine with no validator. The machines in the sixth photo are an AP7600 with a Mars validator (Metal VFM or plastic VN2501 can't tell) and a DN Bevmax with a Conlux validator, meaning the machine is MDB. The Bevmax has updated gates and product slide/pushers. The snack has been refronted and the Bevmax is all updated. Remember you will need to repair the compressor, though. The cooling issue could be a bad fan motor, thermostat, low freon or a bad compressor which is the highest cost at around $600 - 700 to rebuild it. These machines are the best deal, but you must allow for the compressor repair. The last photo is a Royal multiprice late model GIII, with Coinco validator and perhaps a steel bezel on the validator, The other machine is a Coke version of the DN276, is not an E-model, might be multiprice (too blurry) and has a Coinco BA30B validator. The Royal needs a new flavor strip display window and it has faded paint and a faded sign, too. The DN276 will fit right in with your living room decor. From the sound of his ad, he thinks the machine are new so he will think they are valuable. You have to repaint, repair and maybe put a new sign in the Royal, so don't give more than $700 for the pair.
moondog Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 I think everything there is reasonable if you've got a need for some of the single price sodas I saw. The only one I'd avoid is the 1st one with the AP5000 - I'm an AP fan but that machine has got to be at least twenty year old. The last picture has one of my favorite machines - the Royal GIII 804 and I saw an AP7600 in there too. Overall, a pretty good lot
orsd Posted July 16, 2013 Author Posted July 16, 2013 how much would you pay for old dixies like these http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/for/3927545537.html http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/app/3883634813.html
AZVendor Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 The first listing moron needs to figure out how to take a picture, I hope he isn't hiding something. Both machines look like DN368s and both are single price with validators. You will need to paint both as the cabinets are both rough and possibly replace the signs depending on the quality of location you are putting them into. You may also want to replace the selection buttons depending on how yellow they are. The prices are good if they are complete and properly cooling. Plan on upgrading the validators and maybe replacing the coin mechs when you buy them.

rmorris1953 Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 Anything over $300 and no warranty isn't worth getting a headache. Get off Craigslist and find someone who will sell you equipment field ready and a warranty. Anything else and you are taking a chance. There are many out there who take advantage lack of experience. Seen it too many times..... Find someone you trust

Pic one is an overpriced DN440 single price with a Coinco BA30B validator. Pic two is, from left to right, DN276 sgl price w/ Maka val; Lektrovend snack dual spiral, Maka val, few parts available; Rowe 4900 w/ no validator (Can be upgraded to BA30B and 9340L mech (the best machine Rowe ever made) few parts avail.; USI 3013 SM3 w/ Maka val; USI HBA14 coffee, MDB, no val, ok if you need a coffee; DN 414 heavy mutha, sgl prc, Maka val; Rowe 5900 snack, UBA validator that you should upgrade to 24V Coinco or Mars (requires a pigtail harness for simple upgrade and a bracket) good machine but still few parts avail; and a Vendo V407?/475 sgl prc, no validator. Lots of old stuff. If you need single price soda machines and need any working snacks, make an offer. I'd probably not offer over $500 to take it all due to all the missing parts and the age of the machines. Pic 3 is a great deal Vendo Vmax V720 with Mars VN validator. Pic 4 was deleted on CL Pic 5 is an old ugly Vendo that I wouldn't touch Pic 6 is a USI CD6, multiprice cans only with Coinco BA validator. Get it if you need a small machine for a tight space. Pic 7 is an old Vendo V312? 6 sel sgl prc, with no room for a validator. I'd pass mainly because it is a lowering shelf machine. Pic 8 is another old Vendo V312 6 sel sgl prc with an old CBA validator. Probably another lowering shelf machine. Pass

Nothing there I'd use in a decent account. Maybe you could start your own "Man Cave Emporium"
