Crimson Tide Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 Hello, I'm interested in suggestions that anyone on VENDiscuss may have regarding blog sites or other discussion forums that might allow posting of promotional materials (website links, ad copy, etc.) related to my book "The Weekend Confectioner: How to Earn Extra Income with Bulk Candy Vending". The book is available in paperback on Amazon.com under the author name J. Scott Jackson. It is also available by PDF download on my website (for a lower cost) I've used some free internet advertising websites and established a group related to the book on Facebook. I certainly understand why you personally might have no interest in buying an ebook pertaining to bulk candy vending, but there are many people who do want the "how to" steps, tips, machine recommendations, worksheets, etc. in a book format. I bought an ebook before getting into bulk candy vending and I found the book quite helpful. Are you still in vending Yes, I am still in vending, very much so.

I would like to suggest that you utilize every option we have available for you to promote your book. As of March 1, 2012, we will no longer be soliciting or accepting paid advertisements. We will, however, begin to allow members who would like to advertise their vending related product or service the opportunity to do so in the following ways, free of charge. All we ask in exchange for providing you free ad space is that you adhere to a few rules. 1. Your Profile. You can customize your profile page to advertise your business as much as you'd like. You are able to upload a custom background and even display YouTube videos advertising your business.2. Signature. You can advertise your business in your signature with text or graphic. Please limit your signature to a respectful size. Signatures that are too large or otherwise distracting will be removed.3. Your Blog. Feel free to start a blog on our site to promote your vending related product or service. If starting a blog, we do encourage you to post regular updates. Blogs that are not regularly updated will be considered inactive and are subject to removal.4. Classifieds Section. Our classifieds section is available to both individual and commercials advertising. Basic ads are free and run for 30 days. You can also feature your ad by pinning it to the top of the listings for a nominal fee.The following option is also available. It costs nothing to offer your items here however, we do charge a small fee to offset our payment processing costs.Downloads Section. If you are selling a downloadable product, you have the opportunity to sell your item in our download area. Just like our store, you'll have complete control of price and we can provide you with online payment acceptance and processing.
