bulkjake Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 'My vend track' online software is now free. I am not affiliated with them but, I have been using it for 4 months or so and I really enjoy it. Just thought I would share! : ) https://www.myvendtrack.com
GagesVending Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 Thanks for sharing! I'm going to give it a try!
sweetstop Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 I liked it as well I made many suggestions during there beta phase I need to go back to it and incorporate one of my small routes to try it out again
pp47021 Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 I really like this program. I have been using it for almost a year now and it has really gotten better and better and better. I like it a lot and I really love the new price FREE is real hard to beat....
VendingExperts Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 I'm sure this program is simple to use once everything has been setup right. Is there a tutorial as to how to use the program? I tried to add one of my locations just to test it but I'm having a hard time with all the processes.
bhfisher Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 Does 'free' mean free forever or until they build a base?
bulkjake Posted July 19, 2013 Author Posted July 19, 2013 Does 'free' mean free forever or until they build a base? It was $10 per month...until now.
Nick505 Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 Is this the management software I was reading about a couple years ago? Wasn't it vend-trak or something like that?
caserri Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 No. Vend-Trak and My Vend Track are two different applications. Vend-Trak was founded by Jeremy Foot and is marketed by Kickstart Rob. My Vend Track was started by jstople, a member here.

I did sign up for a free trial of one of them, I just don't remember which one it was..
caserri Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 How new is the one referred to by the original poster? Less than a year. Justin started it in August of last year.
Nick505 Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 Oh ok, so I must have tried the other one, I just signed up for this and I will give it a try. I currently use google places.
bhfisher Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 I took a look at this site and noticed right away a few issues: 1. Other than email, there is no address, phone number or other contact info. 2. There appears no method to backup data locally (import/export feature) 3. If they decided to offer service free, when it was $10.00 before, how are they going to make money now? 4. Without some local backup method, how are you going get your data after the website is out of business? 5. Who is Justin? Is he my competitor down the street? How do I know he or one of his worker won't sell my info? I could go on... Bart
Makes Cents Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 Nothing is free, there is always a price- Maybe they're just trying to expand their customer base. I use excel. It may not generate fancy projections but it gives me all the information about my route that I need.
NYCandyMaN Posted June 23, 2018 Posted June 23, 2018 anyone still using this software? what do you think about softessentials.com?
