Poplady1 Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 I have a young vendor that needs some help getting locations. He started in healthy vending and the numbers just weren't adding up for him. So he is moving over into a mix of products. We have 7 recording studios in the LA area. The vendor that has been in there has worked it for 20 years. He is retiring and selling his machines off because they want upgraded machines. So we can't work out a turn key arrangement. They are open 24/7. Each location has from 20 studios to 40 studios. The studios hold bands from 4 to 7 members. They want better machines with credit cards readers plus commission. Right now they are willing to accept just beverage machines. In all of the years we have worked vending this is my first recording studio. This is a young man depending on my experience. Have any of you had this type of account? Did it do well. Just a rough estimate buying the equipment is around $8000. He is getting all refurb's from Vending World. If he makes $300 per month profit on 7 stops that would be $2100 which pays off the equipment in 4 to 6 months. If he can make $200 average per stop that pays them off under the magic 8 months. Any help would be appreciated.
mission vending Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 If the previous guy is retiring I would think that he might be willing to share sales information. Have you tried to contact him?
Poplady1 Posted July 27, 2013 Author Posted July 27, 2013 We have spoken with him but I can't believe the numbers he is reporting. Much higher than I would expect.
