Vendergy Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 Went to an electrical supply store and got two F64T12 bulbs, (home depot) didnt carry this size. $14 for both, out them in the machine..and nothing! So now I'm thinking it's the ballast! I bought one online for $28 and is rated for f94 and higher in the T12 type. What if that's not the problem, what else could it be right? It's just lights not rocket science. This is what I bought! http://www.amazon.com/dp/B002Y0MZDY/ref=pe_385040_30332200_pe_309540_26725410_item
orsd Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 how badly did the seller screw you over ive heard that some machine lights have a starter, so that might be the prob.

It's advised to replace both lamps together to better balance the system. Bad fluorescent lamps will normally get black on the ends just before they die. The only other thing that could be bad are the sockets but that's kind of a long shot.
AZVendor Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 If your ballast is located inside the cabinet (not sure if they did this with 276's) with the light harness running to the door, you might have a broken wire(s) between the ballast and the door. This is caused by the constant bending of the harness when opening and closing the door and the fact that the lighting wiring harness uses only solid core wires that break with age and use.
Vendergy Posted July 26, 2013 Author Posted July 26, 2013 Great points on both replies, will let you guys know what happens. Thanks.
