Kikko max beaner! Love it!

I bought a kikko max golpher last year from Vendors Exchange.....I admit it is fantastic. No problems, drops 12oz cups, grinds beans and spits out French vanilla and hot choc. Vendors exchange will even rebuild. It is 21 inches and fits where a 637 crane national would not. So I am very happy with my Kikko Max! So this is my feedback after having this unit at a low volume school-coffee machine sales are around $35-50 bucks a week. I intend to use Starbucks coffee from Costco in a few weeks and hopefully put a flavour strip on the machines selection menu. To let customers know about the Starbucks brand in my machine!

I ordered direct from vendors exchange-without mech and val the machine was $4900. I also speced my machine with a future cut out for bill acceptance-they charge extra for that-but worth it. Final bill with tax was $just over 5000. My machine does vend 8oz cups-which is fine for my location. Now these are filterless-there is no paper filters. I did have an option of 12 oz cups. I charge $1.50 for a 8 oz cup of FRESH ground coffee! Now I must say the coffee is PHENOMINAL! I easily drink 3 cups of coaffee latte. Just superior to any retail store! I have quite a few coffee machines-these cheap beaners ( the machine is only 21.5 inches wide) are a fantastic fit into tight spaces-no special dollies or movers. I have received 0 complaints-from a school where the kids are from south America-so they no coffee! I think it was a very smart choice, along with very good valur for the dollar!

I service one for one of my customers.

I had a bad battery it kept going to default settings, Vendors EX parts department said there was no battery in the machine.

The other thing is

1 If the customer sets the sugar before the last bit of currency is inserted they get no sugar.

2 If the customer tries to add sugar after the beverage button is pushed they get no sugar.

The people that sort recycling just don’t understand how to get sugar.

I find even if I select the highest sugar options it is still not enough. I could not find an adjustment in the settings.

It did not have the interlock override. Vendors EX parts department could not find the part number. I did not find it in the manual so I made one see the photo.

Just because you buy Starbucks coffee and put in your machine does not give you the right to use their logo on your machine. Yes they have been known to sue vendors for doing this.

Please post a photo of the factory override.

If you find the sugar adjustment please post it.

Did you call Lonnie Yates at Vendors exchange? He is the Kikko Max expert. There is a battery on the control board. It is very easy to see.

Have you tried cleaning out the sugar container? I dishwash mine over Christmas and long weekends! Starbucks is great, proud to advertise on the front of my machine-plus you can buy a Starbucks machine if you join there program! I know about recycling places, no shortage of stars there! Sometimes you need to leave a sugar/coffeemate/splenda dispenser for the "sugar" challenged workers! Here is a link below sir!

Hi Walta

Sugar adjustments should be able to be made by accessing the set parameters area of the tech menu. Once you are in the set parameters area you will need to go to pre-selections & change your dose variation.  You can download the programming manual on the veglobal.net website which may explain it better.

When you say "factory override" are you referring to the yellow service key p/n ZANOV1654? This is available from vendors exchange & costs $1.61.

Hi Chris, glad to here you like your Kikko Max.

I just wanted to ask you what beans you are currently using & why you have decided to change to Starbucks? Are the Starbucks beans cheaper than the beans you are currently using?

How much do you pay for a kilo for beans in Canada?
