casey259
I'm new, please be gentle . I've searched for this topic and couldn't find specific information and if I've missed a thread please excuse me. Now, I have the opportunity to drop off a double head machine in a hotel lobby with 1" toy and gumballs. For the experienced people in the house, does his combination make sense here? From your experience is it worth it? Thanks for any and all responses. On a side note, as someone new and recently starting to generate revenue with my first service cycles I have everyone here at the TVF to thank. Without every single thread and without everyone's input I wouldn't have been able to generate a single dime without losing my shirt. Believe it or not, your comments and input do make a strong impact on those like me starting off!
sherlock
1" toys and GB...sure, give it a go. There's no way to tell before hand just how good or bad a spot is. I've had hotels that do well and others that don't....they are no different than any other location: you won't know until you try. The double with gum and toys is a solid one to test just about ANY location.
SeaTurtle Vending
I agree with Sherlock. Also, if the toys do not do well, then try bouncey balls.
Nate9303
I've got some hotels where I sell a good bit of candy: gum, pmm, and skittles mostly. My machines are in the vendin areas.
shepherdsflock
I have one hotel with a six way rack, three heads of candy, three heads of toys. I also have a double selling one head of gumballs and one head of toys at the oppsosite end of the hotel. It does pretty decent.
