dragstarchad
just bought a new old royal 660-13 machine. m# RV CCR-660-13 A guy bought it a few years a go and has been sitting from the time he bought it. I got all the paper work and keys. I got a very good deal on it but not sure what its worth. (its never had any pop in it) and it is set up to be outside and in the cold. what was that unit new ? and what is it worth now?
AZVendor
If it was new, it would still be owned by a bottling company, presuming it has Coke or Pepsi graphics on it. Only if it's pristine with no corrosion on any of the interior sheet metal might it be brand new, but it's likely been used somewhere along the line. But that doesn't matter as the machine is a very good and versatile machine, so it's definitely worth having. You can do bottles or cans in it. The value depending on condition, of course, is between $500 and $1200.
dragstarchad
the guy I got it from said he bought it new never used. he gave me the keys to the unit and the paper work he got with it. it was in front of his store he never opened and the unit was never plugged in or if it was it was only for a min. It still smells like new in side and cant see were there was any pop in it. he said he bought it and never used it. there is still the set up sheet taped to inside of it. it is new as they get. he gave me paper work from when he bought it and I have both sets of keys with a royal key tab. I am 99.9 sure the unit isn't stolen. looking at selling it or trading it 2 two good running pop machines. one needs to run out side and take dollar bills. in the cold? AZVendor
Well you have a pretty rare machine then. It should bring about $1000 but only to a vendor who recognizes the value. This won't sell at that price on Craigslist. You will also have to rebuild the validator as the belts are likely too old to work well. This machine will work outdoors so why not keep it? If you got a smokin' deal on it go get another deal and you'll not still be looking for two machines.
