AZVendor Posted October 3, 2013 Share Posted October 3, 2013 Do not use a surge protector on a refrigerated or frozen machine unless you can isolate it to the power transformer input and and exclude it from the cooling system. Otherwise, always use a surge protector having the highest level of surge protection, as rated in Joules, as you can afford. The higher the joules rating, the better your protection.
