executivevending
Trying to figure out how to test vend and change the price for the hesheys dixie narco candy machine. It has the blue button like on soda machines but i can't seem to figure it out. Also says coin only but i'm assuming it just says that since there's no change in it. It says 99.99 for the price right now
AZVendor
This machine's programming is very similar to all DN SIID programming. You will press the small blue service button on the control board and you will see HD on the display. Now press and hold select buttons 1 & 2 together to move through the menus. Scroll to the S-P menu for set price. Press button 1 to enter the menu. Now you can press any selection to see it's current price (which will be 99.95 due to loss of machine memory). Press and hold that button to raise the price, release and hold again to lower the price. Repeat for all selections. When finished, press and hold 1 & 2 again to escape out to S-P. Now using 1 & 2 together, scroll down to find DIAG, for the diagnostic menu. Now press button 1 to enter the menu, then press 1 & 2 again to scroll within the menu to MT for motor test. Using button 1, scroll to the selection number you want to test then press button 2 to test it. Repeat this for each of the selections you want to test. Now let the machine run for a couple of hours to see if the refrigeration works and to charge the batter on the logic board. Afterward unplug the machine for 10 minutes then plug it in again and see if the machine held the prices you programmed. If it didn't then you have a dead battery on the logic board. Forgot to mention it says coins only on it as well. Is that just because there's no coins in the mech? Cause the light on the validator is flashing at heart beat rate which it says means it should be working
AZVendor
Yes, if you don't have 10-12 coins in each tube the machine will know it can't take a bill. This will turn the coins only message on.
Walta
With all the prices at 99.95 makes me think the board got reset to factory settings. How or why would this happen? 1 Someone reset it deliberately before they sold it. (Difficult and unlikely) 2 The logic board was just serviced by the factory. (Look for warranty sticker) 3 The battery in the logic board is failing. (Set the prices leave machine unplugged for 24 hours then check prices if back to 99.95 battery is bad) Is there not a sticker inside the machine with price setting instruction?
