vavendor
Does anybody know where I can order them for the sensit 2 machines? AMS tells me they do not carry them anymore for the sensit 2"s.
AZVendor
Do you have bottle rails now and have they worn out, or do you want to add a bottle shelf to a machine? If the bottle shelf is coming out of another machine can you get those rails?
vavendor
The current slides on the inside of the rail have worn down and will no longer hold the shelf securely. The ball bearings fell out also.
AZVendor
That's what I thought might have happened. I'll see if I can come up with some rails for you.
Technivend
I know AMS is discontinuing a lot of older parts but the bottle rails? As far as I know they should be the same right through the line. Do you know who you spoke with at the factory? I'll send them an email right now to confirm.. vavendor
I spoke to Jim McKenzie. He said the new rails do not fit the older machines (sensit 2).
Technivend
So what I was told is that they "had" a couple of different types of rails. They cannot get the old style rails so if you just order the one rail it may not fit properly into the part that bolts on the tray itself. They heva a kit (#21286) that has both the right and left rail assemblies and this is what the recommend. If you call with the actual serial number of the machine they should be able to tell you what rails you have but the kit isn't that expensive and is probably your best bet. vavendor
The issue with that idea is that the slides inside the rails are the piece that is broken. The slides are attached to the rails with rivets. If AMS sends me the replacement slides, how would I then remove the broken slides and reattach the new slides. I have not worked with rivets before and I am not sure how they work. That is why I was trying to buy the rail and slide as one piece.

I don't own this machine but with rivets, just drill them out - they're usually a very soft metal. If you need to replace the rivets, you can get a Harbor Freight kit for less than $20 - this should work fine unless you plan on doing a lot of riveting in the future. AZVendor
vavendor, I'm still looking for a machine I can get the rails off of for you. I have one in my shop that I have to dig out. I believe it has a bottle shelf in it. If you get the newer rail kit, it comes with the rivets. You will drill out the centers of the old rivets and then, using a rivet gun, install the rails with the new rivets.
Technivend
You could try calling and have them run the serial number. They may be able to tell what rails you have and if they have the replacement. Sent from my HTC_Amaze_4G using Tapatalk
vavendor
AZ, yes please let me know if you dig out that machine. If you cannot find any rails, I will order the replacement slides and try it that way. Thanks.
AZVendor
I'll be moving machines around in my warehouse this weekend. I'll let you know as soon as I get to the machine.

AZVendor
I just got a pair out of the machine. Do you by chance have a photo of yours to ensure they are the correct ones?
vavendor
I do not have one handy. Do you know what version it came out of (sensit 1, 2)?
AZVendor
These are out of a Sensit 1. Here are a couple of photos, let me know if they are the correct ones you need.
vavendor
Yes, those are the rails. I need two of the right hand ones. The picture shown is the left hand rail, I believe. How many do you have available.
AZVendor
I thought you needed one left and one right. Do you only need two right side rails? I do have both but will have to get back to the machine again since I only removed a right and left pair.
vavendor
Immediate need is two right hand rails. I will take everything you have though, so I have some spares for future breakdowns. Thanks
