cramlow82
I thought it would be a good place to bring a variety of different flavors of gumballs. Lots of foot traffic in a few hours! Things to tell the PTO: Nothing for them to buy or rent, no candy to go bad for them if they don't sell, we take care of set up and clean up, and they recieve a percentage at the end of the event. (What percentage worked for you if you did this?) Anyone try this?
havending
Funny you mentioned this. This past week we took a chicken to a local school that had a fall festival at night. We paid the school 50.00 and sold finger lights at a buck. We did just under 200.
cramlow82
So do you think it would be a fair number to say they get 25% instead of a flat fee?
havending
We did a flat donation not having any idea how much we would do. I mostly did it for leads
sherlock
I like the flat fee idea. It's shows a genuine willingness to help the cause. Offering a commission may not come across as well. Meaning - you may look like you only care about making a buck. Whereas the flat upfront donation makes you look like someone who just wants to donate without regard to any returns.
