rmorris1953
Stumped National 430 only turns in one direction. Counter clockwise. Got a new direction board along with new motor (PM) I installed both and now it turns only clockwise. Replaced button membrane and stills turns only clockwise. Put old board back on and it turns only counter clockwise. Tried several more used direction boards and it turns only counter clockwise. Replaced main control board and cleared RAM. Did I get a bad board or am I missing something.
Walta
I next thing would resolder the pins on the interface PCB in the bottom of the door. I have found more than 1 cold solder joint there. Walta
rmorris1953
Walta You are talking about the power supply board? I have one. Just hadn't went there yet. I will check that. Unfortunately I have two of these. Haven't done anything with the other one yet
sideshot
on the directional board Assembly there should be a flap on the motor side that protects the board from arcing out on the motor

Changing out that board was my next step. Just wanted to have some input before doing it. I have several junk machines that have parts on them. But you have no idea until you change them out. Walta
National does not give you any choice but to be a parts changer. National will not release board level schematic. I do not think I have ever seen a wiring diagram for a national that showed individual wires. National thinks that where the wires go and what each wire does is too complicated for us to understand. Sorry for the rant. Walta
rmorris1953
Walta Took cover off PCB on lower door.......... Decided to trace that single wire on the direction board back to see where it came from. Right back to the pcb board. It was unplugged. LOL Top left side of board........ Thanks for the input...
