Djstorman
Hello everyone, you may have seen me lurking on these forums and putting in my two cents here and there. I wanted to make a quick post on the progress of what I have accomplished since I started in full line. History: I feel I need to give a little bit of history. I recently left the Air force after serving 5 years active duty and I am in active reserves til the end of July. I am 31 years old, I have a wife and 3 daughters that drive me crazy and make me the happiest man on earth, I work full time in healthcare materials management in particular in surgery. On top of all that I am currently going to school again to finish my bachelors in business management. All in all I am a pretty busy guy, yet I still needed a little bit of extra money and a dream to one day get to a point where I can make 4k net/month and work for myself. I started off as most do by reading the forums and asking a couple newbie questions and then I turned to a couple people that I would like to mention personally. Moondog and Mission vending. I asked these guys a lot of questions and they gave of their time and their knowledge freely, I appreciate it you two. On top of this I asked several questions on these forums as well and AZvending your knowledge is incredible. It Starts: June: I purchased my first machine back in June, a Royal GIII 804, however the location that I bought the machine for suddenly wanted a snack machine and I could not convince them to let me put the soda machine in first. By the end of June I was able to purchase an AP 7600, however I did not find a location for these machines this month. July: I was called by a chase bank on July 8th asking about a combo machines. I know I know, I purchased a Seaga HF 5700 and put it in the bank as a way to get started as it was right down the street from my brother who was going to fill it. Needless to say this machine gets filled every other week and nets a grand total of $120/month. October: I finally found a location for the Royal GIII and the AP snack machine at a manufacturing location. This machine has consistently netted $440 / month. December: Placed an AP 113 and another Royal GIII at another manufacturing location this one with 80 employees we will see what this nets me after its first month. Recap: So far I have made a grand total of $1,920 and I am in the red $3,000 for the cost of the machines. I also have another Royal GIII waiting to be located and will be working on getting this one into a location as soon as I can. All in all I have learned a great deal and once I pay these machines off I will be saving for another set of machines so I do not have to go in the red again. I started out with about $1,000 in capital and hopefully I will see an increase in revenue from this new location. Total revenue: $3,840 Expenses: $1,920 Profit: $1,
Sparta_Automation
At least you have started....and building the business slowly, but without going into debt is a great way to do it. Be careful that you don't grow more then you can support by yourself while you are: 1. Being a husband 2. Being a Father 3. Working Full time 4. Going to School 5. ...... Well you get the point. Keep going! Travis
Djstorman
That is the plan. I am trying to pay off what I put in first. After, I will purchase a machine as I get the capital from business revenue.

TKK
Good job! Keep it up! 4k net isnt impossible, youll get there before you know it! As long as everything you do you make a good profit you will not go into debt. But remember theres good debt and bad debt. Bad debt- you buy a 2014 bmw that will be worth 30% less the first year. Good debt- you find a route that makes $2000 a month, and they want only 8K. You only have 3k down. Get a 0%Apr credit card for 18 months. Pay it off before Apr. Remember it takes money to make money. I would not sweat getting a small loan or charging a cc for a great deal. Just do right decisions. Like my cousin. He was stubborn. Got a 12k loan with 17% interest on a small route that makes 800-1100 a month, about $400-$550 a month net. His payment with ridiculous interest is Like $380 I think its for about 4 years....
