akastaff
I have a ticketyboo crane that vends tickets but when the claw goes to close the machine just shuts down completely. Cycle the power and all is fine again including moving and lowering and raising of the claw...its only when the solenoid is energised which uses 48v as standard. Which is more likely to be at fault do you think..the PSU, solenoid or the board ? Thx
dogcow
Well guessing can be expensive so u might get a multimeter and measure the voltage from the psu And then measure the current draw from the coil make sure everything looks right if so board is prob the culprit
Billnuts
Disconnect the coil and try with the wire off Measure the coil for resistance if its shorted it will read 0-
