shipstore
I would like to fine a place that is reasonable to buy parts for the office deli combos. Seaga Vending only sell new parts and are very expensive. I am looking for refurbished parts, for the soda beverage machine od-
AZVendor
Good luck with that, you've found out one of the biggest drawbacks to Seaga, not including their failure in the tech support area as well. I've yet to see any Office Deli machines being parted out, only sold complete by unsuccessful vendors. You might be stuck buying new parts, but if you bought a newer machine why would you not expect to have to buy new? What part is it that you are looking for? I might be able to help you with what you're looking for.
shipstore
looking to see what a RE1801A refrigeration deck assembly for a 2009 model. thought this was a good looking machine and just very disappointed with the service from seaga. I would think if you bought another company out, you would also make sure you would keep some of the repair techs and manuals for the machines. would you happen to know of a vending and repair course available also. AZVendor
If you mean somewhere you can learn how to repair your own machines, the answer is no, unless you were to pay USI for a course they offer only on their own equipment. If you need a new compressor for your Office Deli, you can ship it to me for a rebuild. I already know that Seaga would charge something like $800 to $1000 from what I've heard, which is ridiculous. They refuse to sell replacement bell housings and the original systems are made in Korea. This tells you that Seaga has the cooling units built in Asia and then imports them for inclusion in their completed machines. This is the poor Seaga support I spoke of. I can source a crossover and rebuild your unit for you. What symptoms are you having with your unit. Some cooling problems with them can be traced to bad temp sensors, bad refrigeration relays, incorrect programming of the temperature settings or a bad logic board. shipstore
the compressor was not running and temp was about 53, but we just gently knock it and check the temp sensor. this machine was in storage when I bought it. we think it was just stuck because it looks like it was not cleaned. their is some run off of broken soda on the base and it needs to be air blown would you use a regular air & refrig tech to service it. shipstore
this is my our first machine and just started the business again, I had 6 mechanical machines in 2000-2004 and closed down for my spouses medical condition. I was a shipserviceman in the Navy, ran the shipstore, laundry, barbershop and vending machines on board of ships. I learned a lot from gekay sales in Virginia, but have been retired since may of 2003. I had to just remember what might work, but am happy with the machine, but not the tech help from anybody. AZVendor
What part do you mean that was "stuck". On this machine, the condensing fan and the evaporator fans will all be running all the time. The only thing that is switched on and off is the compressor bell housing. You have to make sure the condenser is kept clean. If you have a manual for the machine you need to verify your cut in and cut out temps for the cooling unit.
