Grazing Hippo Vending
That Vendstar looks sharp! Nice job. I looked at your website and noticed that you have (or will have?) 50 cent Vendstar mechs. Are you producing those yourself? Are they available now? vendstarphilly
I use popular pet store brands and get better than distributor prices. If I can help ya with cost effective 'healthier' treats let me know.

LimitlessVending
What is your cost per bag and what do you charge? Is there an expirationg date on the dog treats? This is a great idea!

vendstarphilly
What is your cost per bag and what do you charge? Is there an expirationg date on the dog treats? This is a great idea! Thank you! Treats used must be dry, low moisture treats (cookies) to hold up and these style of treats last a year + usually. I have enough machines that I am buying 'bulk' amounts from big name treat makers, by the pound, for between 2.50-4.95/lb.

HotOiler3
I actually thought of this today after picking up 2 vendstars! which also happen to be my VERY FIRST machines. But the treats I have for my dog are low moisture t-bone steak looking things, and they bound up the wheel too much, and got stuck in the chute, I'll have to look into buying bulk treats, glad to know I'm not the only one crazy enough to think of such a thing. I also REALLY like the way you painted it up, looks really cool!

Got any names for treats for the round beavers? We have a candy store in town and would like to offer them this kind of treats because all there posts on there facebook have kids with dogs! Does it have to be a "dog treat"? Why not just buy a good quality dog food in "kibble" form to put in those machines? Kibble should vend as easy as bulk candy in those machines AND it would still be a "treat" for the dog. I often reward my dogs during training by handing them small bits of their regular dog food. They don't care about the difference between a "dog treat" and "dog food". As long as they like it, it's a TREAT to them!
