Ebay???

I have purchased several machines on ebay for moderate savings.  I will only purchase Northwestern 60 or Super 60 machines, Oak machines,  or Seaga machines.   I would not mess with the rest.  I would only bid on the auctions that show a real picture of the item being auctioned.  You can usually tell from a good picture how much work the machine will need.....but you can find some deals.  I have won some auctions where the machines were in excellent condition.

I agree with Dutch and add the following,

Make sure you check the feedback rating of your potential seller. It will give you a good indication of the trustworthiness of the seller. This is especially helpful if the seller has sold similar items and has already received feedback from other customers.

I have purchased many machines off ebay and have found it to be a very cost effective way to start your business.

One final note, If you do decide to shop with a seller on eBay, make sure you browse the listings from our ebay page here at VENDiscuss. Here is a link ==> http://www.vendiscuss.com/forums/ebay.htm That way you will help support our community. In case you haven't noticed yet, I love to give things away!

" Ah Yeah! Thats it! Silent Sales Force! Yeah! They make good, uh GREAT machines! Yeah thats it!"

I personally have had great success with Ebay. Selling...... (capital for starting our vending business) and buying........ (4) 1800 machines (3 brand new still in the box and 1 used. The seller actually said it was a brand new machine. It was not. I could have returned it but I chose to keep it. It is still a good machine.) I would recommend checking feedback on sellers and checking for return policy.

I would also recommend buying anything that I am selling on Ebay!!!!!!:D Ha Ha!

I used to live in So. Cal. you can check out cyberdan in the welcome new members section. He is in Brea. We had a couple of posts on that thread.

Best of luck on your venture!
