COskillgames
Hello, I have several rainbow crane claw machines all of which are adjustable regarding the claw strength via a potentiometer. On a few of my machines when I adjust the potentiometer there doesn't seem to be any change. When the machines were new a slight nudge on the potentiometer made a huge difference but now I adjust to the strongest setting (highest voltage) and the strength is still very weak. Anyone run into this problem and know of a fix? Any advice is appreciated. Thank you in advance.

zapjones
The potentiometers can go bad. Check the voltage with a meter.
COskillgames
Thx dogcow I'll replace coil with one I have in storage and see if this solves it. Hey zapjones, I do not have much experience with multimeters...when I check with a voltage meter do I run Ohms across the circuit with the machine off? If I adjust the potentiometer should the voltage increase/decrease?
