sprint54fan
Press the “test vend” button twice with the door open. This should turn selection 11 then the next selection until the machine has tried every possible motor one at a time. If this does not fix your problem you may have bad motors or damaged shelf connectors in the back of your machine. Try swapping shelves and motors around and single out the bad part. Walta Walta, what do these buttons do: "ENTER LOAD" and "PRODUCT CODE" I tried the test vend button on the thing inside the machine yesterday.. its on the inside and there is a TEST VEND, 5 cent, 10 cent, 25 cent buttons on that thing..none of those buttons work at all.. but the corded module works great... Walta
It sounds like maybe the door switch is not working and the computer thinks the door is always closed. When the door is closed the display should read 00. With the door closed if an error is present a red led will be lit in one of the stars on the front of the machines. When the door is open only the dismal point should be lit. Numbers would indicate errors are present. If the door switch is working make sure the board with the 4 buttons is plugged in. "ENTER LOAD" and "PRODUCT CODE" are part of a very early management information system that most operators never used. Walta
AngryChris
One of my Rowes is either missing the keypad or it's hiding somewhere. Is there no way to program the Rowe 4900 without that keypad?
AZVendor
You have to have the corded keypad in order to program a 4900 so you will have the Enter Price button. If you are missing yours I can send you one.
Feral Vending Mechanic
Unless it has one of those funny aftermarket control boards. I've seen a number of different ones.
