The Killer Beekeeper
Hello all. I was told about this forum by Craig over at Brand Vending during my first phone call to him last week and I like what I see. I am operating a small bulk vending route in my hometown in the High Desert of California where I also keep bees as a hobby. After I post, I'm heading over to the download section to see what tools I might be able to use to make accounting and inventory a bit easier for me. And to the classifieds having already briefly looked at forum post. Looks like good stuff. Thanks Craig. My main product supplier has been A&A out of Sylmar and I am very pleased with them and recently visited their both at the ADS show in Las Vegas. Finally got to meet a couple of their hands from Maryland. Those guys were all smiles, enjoying our wonderful desert climate instead of their hometown shivering cold. Though I've been at this for a bit I too am still learning and almost always some kind of question on my mind. Most recent, having just returned from the ADS show, is how do I get free tickets to attend the other trade shows that concentrate more on just vending? If you're referring to a full line vending trade show (soda, snacks, etc.) the annual trade show is put on by NAMA but I'm not aware of any free tickets ever being available, unless given away by a supplier of some kind. To gain reduced price tickets you must be a member of NAMA. It's a very good trade show, almost a candystore environment, but a very good way to see where the industry is heading.
