Robcamaro
I'm going crazy. Anybody know why a Dixie 501E would be giving "sold out" message when the machine is full? Is it a control board problem?

If you had a jam, it would say "try another selection" so I'm thinking you've got a problem with your sold out paddle switch
Robcamaro
I guess I didn't explain it right. It is saying the machine is sold out, not one selection. "sold out" just keeps scrolling across the screen.
AZVendor
If all of the selections are reporting "sold out" you might have one fuse blown on your logic board. If so, pull the front cover off and test the three fuses in the top right corner of the board. If one is blown then you must replace it with the exact same fuse. This could have been caused by a jammed column so be prepared to test all your columns afterward and to also replace the fuse again if a jam causes it to blow again. If the fuses are good then check the sold out harness connection at the logic board and also inspect the wires from the sold out switches for damage where they come out from under the motor cover on the left side.
