We are a smalltime outfit with a year experience and 12 snack and combo locations.  We have a sure thing location of 250 employees for a large snack machine and a drink machine.  The are requiring a contract and insurance on the machines and a written proposal. They want it by tonight . It is 4:30 here.  Could anyone email or fax a generic or editable set/  Also who generally handles insurance of this tytpe? We don't have such on our other machines. We would sure like to close this deal and would be grateful for any quick help. Guess we have to start getting serious if we want to join you high rollers.

There should be a proposal and contract in the free downloads section. For insurance you will need to find out what their requirements are. Usually they want you to have a one million liability policy and maybe some sort of umbrella policy. Once you know their requirements then call around for a quote.

This was an unusual situation where location wanted rapid results. We now have the liability insurance and have sent a home made proposal plus an online suggested vending contract. All looks good and will sign contract tomorrow. They have two more places like this in another medical center that they are unhappy with vendor. So, maybe start of something good or them being unhappy with us. They were referred to us because we have a snack machine nearby and a good rep. Thanks for help I have received on this forum. You guys are an unusual group of altruistic responders.

I have a $1 million liability policy with Nationwide for about $49 / month. The only reason is to land big accounts like you are doing, otherwise I would not bother.

Everyone in this business, whether large or small, should have business liability insurance because all it takes is for one kid to get hurt by one of your vending machines and sue you.  If you aren't a formal business entity of a C - corporation or LLC then they will sue you personally.  The liability insurance will protect you in either case.
