Chard
We only have one generic Royal - Merlin 2000 in our fleet of machines and it has operated completely problem free for years. However, recently I went to reprogram pricing and was not able to do so. When I push the mode switch the first menu option is coin payout. Cycling through all the selection buttons in this mode, only buttons 3, 4 and 5 actuate a coin payout for quarters, dimes and nickels respectively. The other buttons don't appear to do anything. (I get nothing on the display and no additional actions are performed by pushing any of the other selection switches.) Pushing the mode switch a second time puts the machine in a motor testing mode. Each selection button actuates the vend motor in its respective column. Pushing the mode switch a third time returns the machine to sales mode. According to the instructions there should be additional menu options, but pushing the mode switch does not make these accessible. I've looked for another mode switch, etc and cannot find any. I have no idea how to raise the price. Any suggestions? I forgot to mention that this is a Merlin 2000 series
AZVendor
The pricing mode is in the secondary menu which is only accessible by pressing on the door switch while also pressing the service mode button on the board. It's awkward to do, but you need to put your right foot on the switch, your right hand on the mode button while also peeking around the front of the door at the display so you can see what's happening. When you get to the pricing mode you can remove your foot from the door switch and then change your prices by pressing each selection button to change that selection's price. moondog
What the hell were the royal engineers smoking when they designed that one? Sounds a little bit like the Hokey Pokey - maybe that was their inspiration
Walta
Try doing a factory reset on a Vendo you must be holding 2 buttons on the front of the machine while plugging machine into the wall outlet. Walta
