sprint54fan
I have a toy soldier crane with a Mei dba model #AE 2431 D5 Walked into the location today and the front green lights were not lite.. So I opened unit to investigate and no stuck dollar or anything. I look at the red light to see how many times its flashing and its flashing continuously slowly.. On the bill box it says if red light is flashing continuously slowly then it has unit failure and replace unit.. I dont think there is much wrong as it was just working great..I cleaned the sensors on it..and wiped it down inside and out..i turned machine on and off a couple times..I also unplugged the acceptor a couple times and replugged in..light is still do same thing when you turn the machine off and back on the dba doesnt reset like it should it just make a little sound and then the light is back to blinking slowly.. I guess Ill buy a used one on ebay..but my question is what kills these units like this?
AZVendor
That's probably caused by a bad transport motor in the validator or a bad power supply in it. You can send it to me for repair so you don't have to worry about getting an unknown one off of ebay. This would guarantee that you put an actually repaired unit back in your machine.
