We had a request from out local two year college to place a vending machine which offers a variety of cold food and snack (we use Crane machines with CC readers). They have no snack machines currently, but do have a Coke machine, The dorm houses approx. 200 kids, there is video surveillance. AZVendor Posted December 12, 2014 Share Posted December 12, 2014 Each dorm can be different and there aren't any baseline numbers, you just need to test the waters. Try to find out what the Coke service schedule is and if the machine runs out of product between services. That will be the best guideline you have. The cameras will only help catch the vandal, not prevent the vandalism, so protect your machines and don't put anything new in there. Use something that you don't mind putting some hockey puck locks on. Colleges can easily be worse than apartments for vandalism rates. Out at the ASU campus here there have been machines pushed over balconies and shoved down stairwells, so be prepared. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
