redmms250713
Does anyone know that if for Illinois, on ticket redemption if its setup for tokens, do you need a COAD tax sticker? Ive noticed chuck e cheese doesnt use them?
musser
If you vend something either on points credits cash its a sale thus ROT, as far as cranes and redemption its use tax, on vend everytime its sales tax. Bulk sales of fifty cents and less are not subject to sales tax but are subject to use tax.
redmms250713
so what would a LAI Stacker machine be considered? You kinda said cranes and redemption its use tax, which to me would be a LAI Stacker no? So ticket winning machines are ROT since you win tickets? And how is use tax calculated? musser
Stacker is redemption, the tickets have a cash value right? They are still a cash payout. Use tax is paid on purchases of goods not used for retail sales so use tax is paid on your purchase cost of bulk vending goods sold at fifty cents or less and crane, stacker, redemption prizes. The rate is the same as state sales tax. You file online at mytax Illinois but you must of course be registered
